However i found a source for previously damaged but expertly repaired semi antique persian rugs ripped out the horrible wall to wall carpet had the original oak floors sanded and refinished and put down those.
One of the great things about it is if the rug gets stained you can always paint it.
But i would say i m happy to get up every morning.
